Pinot Noir, Oregon
WINE BY JOE
Our Pinot Noir represents a broader expression of Oregon’s terroir and speaks to celebrating the diversity of what the Rogue & Willamette Valleys have to offer.
Our Pinot Noir is a great example of all that Oregon has to offer. It was a Cinderella vintage: cool and dry, the type of vintage that makes winemakers smile. There were some wide swings in weather conditions, resulting in a lower yield and a resulting spectacular Oregon vintage—full of elegant red wines and vibrant whites.
This medium-bodied wine instantly pleases and leads to a silky mid-palate of boysenberry, plum, and cherry pie spice. It is well balanced and generous with a candied red fruit character that seems to explode on the palate. Think watermelon, strawberry compote, black cherry, and a touch of that well-known Oregon earthiness. Soft tannins with moderate acidity lingers, keeping you wanting more. From vineyards as far South as the Rogue Valley to the Northern reaches of the Tualatin Hills, this wine always shows abundant redfruit, a lush and light mouthfeel, and an invitation to enjoy whatever activity you are doing.
